Num dos jardins da cidade, temos a estátua de Colombo a relembrar a sua passagem e vida pela ilha e no topo das suas colinas, à distância de uma viagem de teleférico, temos o Jardim Botânico! É possível fazer slide pela colina abaixo numa cadeira conduzida por dois homens. A cidade velha tem pequenas ruas estreitas e marcas da passagem de homens e mulheres de muitas nacionalidades. O turista mais famoso foi Winston Churchill e também ficou fã do famoso vinho da Madeira. Quando falamos de habitantes mais populares, é inevitável não falar de Cristiano Ronaldo. O melhor jogador do mundo!

After a great tour of mainland Portugal, we finally reach the Portuguese islands. Funchal is the capital of Madeira and its largest city. It is in a fantastic bay to the ocean and behind has the mountains that surround the whole landscape.
In one of the city’s gardens, we have the statue of Columbus recalling his passage and life on the island and on top of its hills, just a cable car ride away, we have the Botanical Garden! You can slide down the hill in a chair led by two men. The old town has small narrow streets and marks the passage of men and women of many nationalities. The most famous tourist was Winston Churchill and also became a fan of the famous Madeira wine. When we talk about the most popular inhabitants, it is inevitable not to talk about Cristiano Ronaldo. The best player in the world!
